Privacy Policy

At Zairu ('we', 'us', or 'our'), we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Zairu browser extension and website collect, how it is used, and how it is protected.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to run the license system:

• Google account: your email address and Firebase user ID, used to sign you in and attach your license to your account.
• License data: your license expiry date and the license keys you redeem (key and redemption time).
• Device records: a random device ID created by the extension, the time it was first and last seen, and whether Zairu is currently running on it. This is used to enforce the device limit (up to 3 registered devices, 2 running at the same time). We do not use your IP address for this. Device records are kept for as long as the license exists and are not deleted when you log out or reinstall; you can reset all of them yourself once per month (the right renews on the 1st at 00:00 GMT+3). A reset signs out every device, which then has to sign in again.
• Settings you choose to sync: language, trigger words, trusted usernames and bot aliases (these may contain Discord usernames). Your display name, Curse/Pray ID, custom sounds and panel layout stay only in your browser.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to:

• Sign you in and identify your account.
• Check your subscription and apply the device limits.
• Keep the service secure and prevent abuse such as key or account sharing.
• Respond to your support requests.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We never sell your personal data. We rely on these providers:

• Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore): stores account and license data. Google may process technical data such as your IP address when you connect.
• Patreon: handles payments. We never receive or store your card details.
• Fonts and images: the settings page loads fonts from Google Fonts and flag images from flagcdn.com and gstatic.com, which may receive your IP address.

4. OwO and Discord Data

Zairu is a 'Helper' tool. While it runs in your Discord tab:

• It reads the text on the page only inside your browser, to detect captchas, mentions, animal catches and XP. This data is never sent to us or anyone else.
• We do not save your messages or chat history.
• Zairu has no official affiliation with Discord or OwO.

5. Data Retention

We keep account, license and device records while your account exists and as long as needed to enforce license limits. Local data stays in your browser until you remove the extension or clear its data.

6. Data Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and database access rules so that each user can only reach their own data. However, no transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time via our Discord support server or at [email protected]. Deleting an account also removes its license and device records.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you through our website or the extension when significant changes occur.
